What Need to Cook Best Alfredo Pasta Garlicky Shrimp (Ingredients for 4 Servings):

  • Shrimp (or Prawns): Purchase peeled and deveined shrimp. Half-pound (250g) medium-size shrimp (or prawns) with the tails.
  • Butter
  • Sliced Garlic
  • Cavatappi Tubular pasta: 150g
  • Flour: 1 cup
  • Tomatoes: 1 medium size
  • Milk: 2 cups
  • Chicken broth: 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oregano leaf
  • Salt

Step by Step Cooking Process: How to Make Cheesy Garlicky Shrimp Alfredo Pasta?

  • We are not using any oil. So, melt frozen butter in a pan first, in medium temperature. Keep stirring to melt quickly.
  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of chopped garlic in the butter. Stir and fry a minute. After frying garlic, add peeled shrimp (or prawns).
  • Fry for 3-4 minutes and stir occasionally until pink and fried. When frying is done, add 1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves and fry two minutes more. Now keep all the shrimp aside in a separate plate.
  • Let melt one slice of butter again in a pan. Add one tablespoon flour. Stir continuously to mix butter and flour perfectly.
  • Pour one cup of chicken broth. Cook until thick. Now add half teaspoon dried oregano leaf. Stir and cook one minute and pour one cup of milk and cook 2 minutes more. Add salt to taste.
  • Add a medium size chopped tomato. Add half a cup of mozzarella cheese. After melting mozzarella, add 150g boiled Cavatappi tubular pasta. Cook a minute and pour one cup of milk again. Add some chopped coriander leaves.
  • Now add fried shrimp. After a minute, add some mozzarella cheese and coriander leaves. Cover the pan for 4 minutes.
  • Our Alfredo Pasta with Garlicky Shrimp is now ready to serve. Yum....
